New Lotus Map

Riot Games has released a new update for its tactical shooter game Valorant, adding two new maps to the game. The first map, called Lotus, is the ninth map to be introduced in the game since its launch in June 2020. It features an Indian aesthetic and has three main areas, similar to another Valorant map called Haven. The second map, Split, has received multiple tweaks since its debut in the game’s closed beta, including silent drops down the Mid platform for all players and minor adjustments on both sides of the map.

The update will replace Breeze and Bind with Lotus and Split in competitive and unrated matches. Valorant is free to play on PC and can be accessed through Xbox Game Pass for PC by linking a player’s Riot account.

What is in New Valorant 6.00 patch?

The Valorant 6.00 patch also includes fixes for over a dozen bugs, including adjustments to several of the game’s playable characters. For example, Killjoy’s Lockdown ability will now take damage from all other abilities, while Sova’s Hunter’s Fury will no longer damage an ally’s Haunt.

With the addition of these two maps, Split will be returning to the map pool and will be replacing Breeze and Bind in competitive and unrated matches. Valorant is available to play for free on PC and Xbox Game Pass for PC users can unlock all playable characters by linking their Game Pass account to their Riot account.
